Imagine having instant access to a database with over 8,500 upcoming hotel projects, 2,400 hotel chains and the contact details for all stakeholders involved.
It sounds overwhelming, but with THP’s hotel database and its advanced filtering system, finding exactly what you need is straightforward and efficient.
In this blog post, we will guide you through how to use the THP database’s construction filter to pinpoint the hotel projects that best align with your business objectives.
What exactly is the construction filter?
THP’s optimised construction filter is a powerful tool designed with our client’s needs placed front and centre.
Whether you’re looking for specific projects or detailed constant information, this feature is designed to make your search precise and effective.
We’ve recently redesigned this feature, allowing you to easily access valuable information about companies, architects, developers and more, with ease and precision.
Key Features of the Construction Filter
1. ProjectID
Purpose: Quickly locate a specific project using its ProjectID.
Benefit: It’s the quickest way to get straight to the specific project you want details for, in case you already know its ProjectID.
2. Project Name
Purpose: Search for projects by name.
Benefit: You can easily find a hotel project by typing its name into the search field shown below.
3. Phase
Purpose: Filter projects based on their development stage.
Benefit: You can target projects at different stages – vision, pre-planning, planning, under construction, pre-opening or opened – to align with your strategic goals.
4. Status
Purpose: View projects based on their current status.
Benefit: You can focus on projects relevant to your business, with four options within the status filter: on hold, cancelled, and opened.
5. Opening Date
Purpose: The opening date function is perfect for narrowing down your search by a project’s opening date.
Benefit: Filter projects that open within a specific timeframe to match your target dates.
6. Stars
Purpose: This feature allows for hotels to be filtered by their star rating.
Benefit: While THP mainly works with 4 and 5 star projects, there are still a broad range of projects at a lower star rating available on the database.
7. Construction Type
Purpose: Select projects based on construction type.
Benefits: New builds, extensions, refurbishments and conversions are all covered under this filter for easy browsing.
8. Rooms (from, to)
Purpose: Filter new hotel projects by the number of rooms.
Benefit: You can input as many, or as few rooms as you’d like in the search fields, and watch the THP database do the work to find you a perfect result.
9. Chain Type
Purpose: Choose to filter between branded or independent hotel brands.
Benefit: These two tick boxes allow you to decide between filtering your search results by either branded or independent hotel brands.
10. Name of Chain
Purpose: Find projects associated with specific hotel chains.
Benefit: Enter the name of a hotel chain to access detailed information about its upcoming projects. THP works closely with all major hotel chains, to ensure the most up-to-date and accurate information about their upcoming projects.
